Excited. Honored. Supported. Empowered!
These are all words to describe how I feel about having the opportunity to represent my hometown of Wilkes Barre/Scranton on the Miss Pennsylvania stage.
The Miss America Organization has already had a hand in shaping me into the woman I am today by showing me the value in Service, Style, Scholarship and Success. This organization has shown me that Success comes in all forms, shapes, sizes, promotions, set backs, and opportunities.
Through my life and my own experiences, I have developed a platform that I call My Own: Career and College Readiness. To support, encourage and mentor young adults to create their own opportunities and build the future of their dreams. I come from a small town and want to educate young men and women that even if the door wasn’t open for you when you were born, it doesn’t mean that it’s closed! You can create your own opportunities to shape your future!
I look forward to partnering with the Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) once again during my year of service. I have met so many incredible people through working with CMN and I can’t wait to use my title again to support this organization. For those of you who aren’t aware. When you donate to CMN, the funds go directly to supporting children in your area! If you’re interested in making a donation, feel free to check out my CMN page!
I’m looking forward to this incredible year of service that lies ahead and I can’t wait to share this journey with you!
Officially signing on as Miss Wilkes Barre/Scranton!
